QuickBooks or Simply Accounting?
A: Both Simply Accounting and QuickBooks are excellent bookkeeping programs. Neither one is better than the other, it is only a matter of personal preference. We are experienced with both programs.
Q: I didn't have any sales or expenses
this past quarter, do I still need to file my GST return?
A: Yes, you must still file your GST return on time, even though there is no income or expenses.
Q: What is the difference between a sole proprietorship and a corporation?
A: A sole proprietorship is not a distinct entity, and its income is reported on the owner's personal tax return. A corporation is a distinct entity with many of the same rights of an individual such as owing property, and paying taxes. The corporation files its own tax return separate from that of its owner(s).
