Tax Return Preparation

Personal/Small Business Returns

It is important to file your personal on time, even if you think you may not owe any taxes. 

We prepare and file personal tax returns, including those for small businesses (sole proprietors), rentals and employment expenses. 

Corporate Tax Returns

Federal and provincial corporate income tax returns are typically prepared with formal financial statements. 

Financial Statements

C. Lewis & Associates offer compilation engagement (Notice to Reader) financial statements that are reviewed and signed by a Chartered Accountant. 

If your corporation requires a Review or Audit engagement we are able to work with our associates to provide these services. 

 

Bookkeeping

We are experienced in QuickBooks and Simply Accounting bookkeeping software. 

We can come to your office to do your bookkeeping on site, or we can do your bookkeeping in our office. 

By having your work done in our office, your office and computer are not tied up while we are there.  In addition there is no need to purchase costly bookkeeping software and annual upgrades

We can pick up and drop off your records, and offer a fast turnaround on your work. 

Remittances Preparation

In addition to your day to day bookkeeping, we can prepare your company's GST, PST, WSIB and source deduction remittances.  Filing your government remittances on time prevents late filing penalties.  Repeated late filings may trigger audits by government departments. 

Payroll

We can prepare your payroll pay stubs and email them to your office for distribution to your employees.  Our clients usually email us the payroll details 2-3 days prior to pay date, and we have the paystubs there the day prior to distribution. 

Alternately we may attend your office to prepare the payroll cheque run and stubs.
